Synopsis:
Cuba (Agosto,1994) . The world of Carlos is collapsing. His little hometown is a chaos. His friends are leaving, his grandmother dies, he is exploring sexuality. He was hoping for a normal summer but his emotions are upside down while he tries to survive with an uncertain future when government politics change and thousands of cubans are throwing themselves to the sea with the hope of escaping.

Sayné is 8 years old and has to write a story about her family as a school task. Through this process, the little girl watches and redescovers her family nucleus: dad, mom and mom´s girlfriend. Although her mom´s relationship with her girlfriend has been really long, Sayné starts to understand that her mom´s partner is another woman and that makes her family different from others. She loves her mother and girlfriend. And even though she understands her family is different, she doesn´t want to be seen as someone different.
